Connect 2020 Comes to an end

What is Connect 2020?

Ten weeks of construction will reduce Link light rail service beginning Jan. 4. The Connect 2020 project builds new light rail tracks connecting Seattle to the Eastside. Learn more about the overall Connect 2020 project on soundtransit.org.

Buses will be replacing link lightrail this weekend between Capitol Hill Station and SODO!

Shuttle buses replace Link trains this weekend between Capitol Hill–SODO. The closure begins Friday night at 9 p.m. and lasts through the end of service Sunday. During this time, 4-car trains continue to run between Angle Lake–SODO and between UW–Capitol Hill.
No fares are required on Link or shuttle buses during these partial closures.
Shuttle buses begin operating at 8 p.m. Friday, one hour prior to Link trains suspending service downtown.
Shuttle buses will operate every 7 minutes during all Link service hours. The shuttle buses serve SODO, Stadium, International District/Chinatown, Pioneer Square, University Street, Westlake and Capitol Hill stations.
Security staff will be on hand to help direct riders to shuttle stops.
